Clare’s Rock Hostel
Clare's Rock Hostel is located in the unspoilt village of Carron right in the heart of the Burren. Carron is most famous, nationally, for being the birthplace of Michael Cusack (founder of the Gaelic Athletic Association), and internationally for all the features unique to the Burren. The hostel specialises in accommodation for couples and families.
Location: The Clare's Rock Hostel is located right in the heart of the Burren and is easily assessed by the main roads coming from Galway and Clare.
There are large fully equipped kitchens for self catering. A tv / common room and ensuite bedrooms. There is a 9 hole "home made" mini golf course for kids. We now have bicycles available for hire to guests. Visitors are welcome to come onto the farm where they can see the system of farming that has been handed down through the centuries to help maintain the Burren as it is today, rich in flora with crystal clear spring wells.
