Vandalism or Recreation -Limestone Damage

Visitors can be found daily, erecting stone monuments and mini Dolmens across the Burren. The structures, which have been tolerated in the past, have now become so extreme in volume that many believe this particular form of 'vandalism' needs to be stopped immediately. What do you think?

 

Conservation Project for the Burren

A major new Project has been announced for the Burren. Titled 'Farming for Conservation', the project is to be funded through the EU LIFE-Nature fund. Project partners include National Parks and Wildlife Service, Burren IFA and Teagasc.
