Glaciated karst
A term often used to describethe Burren landscape, shaped by a combination of glacial and solutional activity
Gothic
Medieval style of architecture featuring pointed arches, windows with mouldings etc
Grike
The cracks that appear in the Burren pavements separating the clints or pavement blocks. These grikes are in fact solutionally enlarged vertical fractures in the rock.
