Bawn
The walled courtyard of a castle or tower house
Bedding plane
The often-horizontal separating layer between beds of rock such as is seen all over the Burren, formed by interupptions in the depositional sequence
Bullaun stone
Boulder with a man-made hollow on top, thought to be used as a receptacle for holy water at some ecclesiastical sites
