Gort: Summer activities at Coole Park this August.Sundays at 3pm for Family Walks. Wednesdays at 2.30pm for some nature activities for children. Heritage week events also take place at Coole Park towards the end of the month.
Ballyvaughan and Fanore Walking Club was founded in March 2006. The club provides members with an opportunity to meet and participate in walks. Today we have a membership of 80 with an additional 7 members who are affiliated to different walking clubs. Members are affiliated to the Mountaineering Council of Ireland. (MCI) We have Guided walks taking place throughout the year.
