Burrenbeo is a not-for-profit project aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for the people of the Burren and their rich heritage. Thus far, burrenbeo has been slowly built up using the spare time and resources of its promoters, Ann O’Connor and Brendan Dunford. Every cent of Grant aid which has been secured has been ploughed back into developing the website and other products (CD ROM, Info leaflets) and services (education, etc.).

People from all over the world have a great love and respect for the Burren, and an enormous body of goodwill exists towards the area. There are many ways in which this global Burren community can support the work of Burrenbeo:

By telling your family and friends about burrenbeo;
By telling Burren based product & service providers that you found their business via burrenbeo
By linking to burrenbeo from your website;
By e-mailing us with your ideas, opinions, information and articles.

Financial Support:
By purchasing products and services through our on-line shop;
By becoming part of our business network;
By making a donation to burrenbeo (through burrenbeo membership-- see shop);

Any income generated through burrenbeo in excess of its basic running costs will be invested in the provision of information and educational services for the Burren.
